Canada Day

Canada Day is this weekend.  I created a card using Art Impression "Little Stinker" stamp.  I coloured him with copics.  I used Nuvo Crystal Drops on his hat and added to black ink.  The background was made using "Layered Plaid Background" dies by AlteNew.  My little stinker was placed on a Spellbinders Label die and the sentiment was designed by me on my Silhouette Cameo.  I added some small maple leaf punches.

Birthday Bear Hugs

This is a fun bold card I made for a little boys birthday.  I used MFT "Birthday Bears".  I cut two squares out of the red and then embossed it with a Darice embossing folder.  I made this into a shaker card and used Cuttlebug Confetti die for the confetti.  I coloured the bear with copics and heat embossed the sentiment.

Truly Proud Canadians

I created this card thinking like the elderly couple showing their pride for Canada.  I live in Ontario and it usually rains every time the fireworks start.  I love how the elderly couple come to "ooh and aah" the fireworks even in the rain.  I stamped the couple from the stamp set "Love Birds".  I coloured them with copics and fussy cut them.  I did a water colour background.  Unfortunately, my photo doesn't show the distinction from the ground to the sky.  I drew the fireworks and went over them with a sparkly gel pen to highlight them.

Happy Birthday Canada

Canada Day is right around the corner.  I am showing my patriotism with this card.  I used the stamp "Teddy Bear" from Rubbernecker.  The Happy Birthday sentiment is Tim Holtz.  Canada was designed on the Cameo by Silhouette.  I made a Canadian Flag and attached it to a tooth pick.  I coloured the teddy bear using copic markers.

There she was just a-walking down the street...Do Wah Diddy Diddy

I created this card using a sketch from "Beccy's Place".  I just love these chicks from Beccy Muir's stamp sets "Cool Chicks" and "Birds of a Feather".  Instead of three bird houses, I used three chicks.  When I was colouring the chicks, I thought of the 60's song "Do Wah Diddy Diddy" by Manfred Mann, hence the title of my card.  Supplies used:  Unknown brick stamp, pearls, Copics, Wink of Stella, Glossy Accents & Nuvo Crystal Drops.

Skating on By

I love my Polar Bears,  Today I made a card using "My Favorite Things" BB Polar Bear Pals.  The background die was Lawn Fawn Snowy Backdrop.  I cut it also in yellow to add the little stars to my card.  I coloured my polar bear using copics.  I always have fun creating with Polar Bears.  Thanks for stop by to have a look.

You Are My Sunshine

This little girl is just so adorable.  The stamp set is "April Showers" by Dare 2B Artzy.  I stenciled a small area of geometric squares using Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide.  She coloured with copics and the sentiment was stamped with a Marvy marker. I added Wink of Stella to the lacy part of the umbrella, coat and to the flower on the gumboots.  I used glossy accents for the button and the three blue dots on the tag.

Ahoy Matie!

"You're a Treasure" card was made using the stamp set "Party Like a Pirate" from My Favorite Things.  I embossed the blue background.  The foreground is a left over piece of paper I found that had interesting texture.  I coloured the images using copic markers.  I added glossy accents to the coins and the portals of the ship.
