Beary Nice

 

With this card, I used My Favorite Things stamps "Fireworks CS-306", Birthday Bears BB21" and
"Mirror Image CS-136".  I stamped the fireworks and embossed them two different colours of pink.  The oval was cut using a die from my stash. The bear was stamped and then stamped using the Mirrow Image stamp.  They were cut out using the Scan N Cut.  Coloured with Copic markers.  The markers used were W1, W3, W5, W7, C8, and E04.  The noses have a drop of Ebony Black Nuvo Drops.  The sentiment was done on the Silhouette Cameo.  Thank you for having a look.

True Love

I love watching fireworks and I especially love watching them with my "Love of my Life".  I have never stamped fireworks so I thought I would give it a try.  Not quite as easy as other stamping.  After a few tries, I was finally happy with them.  The "Fireworks" stamp set is from My Favorite Things.  The polar bears are from the stamp set "Winter Skies" from Lawn Fawn.  I coloured the polar bears using copics.  I fussy cut them and popped them up using pop dots.  The back ground is inked using a freelance curve.  I added the heart to show the love the polar bears have for each other.

Truly Proud Canadians

I created this card thinking like the elderly couple showing their pride for Canada.  I live in Ontario and it usually rains every time the fireworks start.  I love how the elderly couple come to "ooh and aah" the fireworks even in the rain.  I stamped the couple from the stamp set "Love Birds".  I coloured them with copics and fussy cut them.  I did a water colour background.  Unfortunately, my photo doesn't show the distinction from the ground to the sky.  I drew the fireworks and went over them with a sparkly gel pen to highlight them.
