MERRY CHRISTMOOSE

Time to start a few Christmas Cards.  I love this Christmas Moose from High Hopes.  I wanted to keep this one very simple.  He is coloured with copics with some glitter snow added for the hat rim and edge of scarf.  What Christmas Moose doesn't have Christmas snow so I added a bit.  Loved doing this cutie.

Thanks for stopping by to have a look.

Never Grow Up

I made this card for a dear friend of mine (father) who needs to lighten up a tad.  I used three stamp sets from Art Impressions, "Lifetime, Boy & Girl Mini (sentiment) and WC Dog".  I reversed stamped the dog as I wanted him to face the other direction.  I did that by stamping him on a piece of acetate and then putting the acetate face down on my card front and rubbing the image.  It didn't come out quite as clear as I wanted, but was fine as it was a dog and dogs are shaggy.  The window die is also from Art Impressions.  The "Starry Night Sky" is a die from Sue Wilson.  I designed the curtains on my Silhouette Cameo.  I put a "Mini Action Wobble" under my Birthday Boy to allow him to dance up a storm.  I coloured the dog and Birthday Boy using my copics.  I sketched the floor and then applied Tim Holtz Distress Ink Antique Linen.  The walls were coloured with Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Cracked Pistachio.  I embossed the sentiment and added white and black Nuvo Crystal Drops.

Note for Dies R Us:  Die used was Sue Wilson's "Starry Night Sky".

Peek-A-Boo, Where are You?

This "Peek-A-Boo" card was made with my Grandson in mind.  He is 18 months and loves to play peek-a-boo with anyone and everyone.  The background was created using Tim Holtz Distress Inks.  Colours used were Tumbled Glass, Stormy Sky and Chipped Sapphire.  I added a green diagonal stripe background using Lawn Fawn "Stripey Backdrop"die.  I stamped the ducks from Lawn Fawn "Rub-A-Dub-Dub" stamp set.  I coloured them using Copic markers and then fussy cut them.  The sentiments were created using my Silhouette Cameo.  I added a duckling on the inside of the card.

Glad you could drop by to have a look at my card.

Coffee

This says it all for a coffee drinker like myself.  This card was done with one stamp set, Newton's Nook "Newton Loves Coffee".  I coloured the cat and coffee cup using copics.  I stamped the coffee beans with Tim Holtz distress ink walnut stain.  I then outlined them with a very fine liner.  I added black Nuvo Crystal Drops for the nose.

Thanks for taking a peek.

By the Sea

There is something majestic about seeing the ocean and the mountains at the same time.  It reminds me of Vancouver Island very early in the morning.  I embossed Impression Obsession Mountain Landscape Layers (347-W) instead of cutting them.  I used the the embossed lines for water colouring the mountains and then water coloured the ocean and fore land.  I die cut the lighthouse and the dolphins from the IO Mini Nautical Set (184-L).  I also die cut the seagull from IO Sea Birds      (078-F).

Thanks for stopping by to have a look.
